The Land of Giants

Legend becomes reality, with human forms forged into huge stone statues dating back to three thousand years ago, found in the hills of Mont’e Prama, in the enchanting peninsula of Sinis, in central-western Sardinia.
There are many vibrant cities with local traditions, archaeology sites and Roman ruins.
“An example are the notorious Giants of Mont’e Prama, ancient stone sculptures created by the Nuragic civilization of Sardinia, Italy. Fragmented into numerous pieces, they were found by accident in March 1974, in farmland near Mont’e Prama, in the Municipality of Cabras, province of Oristano, in central-western Sardinia. The statues are carved in local sandstone and their height varies between 2 and 2.5 meters”. Source: Sardegna Turismo, Wikipedia.
